3D Trolleys Reverse Engineering Project

Two dozen fully assembled trolleys, for various welding applications were required to be reverse engineered and modelled in 3D CAD.

Size & weight deemed these were to remain in situ, so it was decided that physical measurements, combined with perspective corrcted photography would be employed for 3D data capture.

All trolleys were faithfully reproduced to a high level of dimensional & geometric accuracy.

A portfolio of 3D images were produced for company literature, together with extensively annoted assembly schematics in the form of orthhographic drawings drawn to the required design specification, suitable for delivery the chosen fabricator.
